Rocker B: MY ROCKER C MOD THREAD

Not sure who makes 'em splatttttt....but other then the heat shield on the back of the inside pad, they look just like the EBC HH sintered pads that I replaced.
Not yet, but very soon my friend!! I was going to install the cams, lifters and adjustable pushrods this weekend, and went down to my indy Tims shop yesterday to see if I could borrow the tool needed to pull the inner cam bearings. He told me no problem....but, also said that he's been a little slow lately, and if I wanted, he would give me a deal and only charge me 2 hours labor to do the job!! I had to take him up on it, he said he can do it this week on Fri. or Sat..... I'll upload my map and have V&H edit in the changes for the cams before they're installed, then flash the new map before it's fired up!!
I've got everything needed for installation, the lifters and cam spacer kit arrived. The spacer kit comes with all 5 sizes. When I did the cams on the Breakout, I waited to see which one I needed, then found out my local HD dealer had to order it. I got held up for a couple days, so I wanted to avoid that this time....

Not yet, ....The cam install got delayed, looks like a week from today!! It's been raining and cold here, so I decided to wait until next week when it's supposed to clear up.....I did talk to Vance & Hines again about the cam edit, and I found out that the map they send back can only be downloaded for a short period of time, so I'll upload my map to V&H on the day the cams are installed, and then call them. They said it only takes a few minutes to edit in the changes and send it back, hopefully it'll goes smooth....

that's weird? hope it all goes smooth, im assuming you have your rear brake under control, and yes the weather here is 40 with a serious wind-chill, SNOW 30 minutes from me, so my motivation has slowed as well, so I totally relate. But I fond a Real indy, this guy is good, or so I hear, but I met him, he doesn't have that im GODS GIFT TO YOUR BIKE ATTITUDE THE LAST GUY HAD than wouldn't check my squeal for 2 weeks, thsn I finally figured out when it got cold it was the dam upper belt guard, sooooooooooo weird, like I told you, in the warm weather that squeal went away when clutch was pulled in? must free the belt up or something, who know or cares at this point, fact was, HE WAS TRYING TO DODGE HIS WORK, and with the amount of $$ I have lined up, I don't need that in my corner, how can you rely on a guy like that???

Here's how it works....I need to upload my current map to the V&H server with my FP3 (which I can do anytime), when I do it will give me a reference #. Then I need to call customer support with the ref. # and cam info, and they will make the changes for the cams and send back an edited map for me to download, BUT, when they do, it's only available to download for a period of time. I'm not sure exactly how long, but V&H told me it's best to call them with my ref. # on the day I have the cams installed, they'll edit my map and send it back for me to download within a few minutes. So, I'll be able to flash the new map before the bike ever gets fired up.

That's some great direct support V&H are offering. But I don't get why they only have the edited download available for a limited period of time. Would be easy to provide something like a user login area for their customers where they can store the individual maps (additional backup for the FP3 internal storage)...
