So it turns out Colormania either sent me the wrong color paint or it was mismarked and they sent 2 cans of base and no mid paint. The painter could not get it to match, he painted a couple different test strips with 1 and 2 coats of mid, but it's not gonna cut it... I tried to contact Colormania, but still haven't heard back, hoping for a refund!!..... But, I got lucky and the painters PPG (HD paint supplier) paint rep just happened to be there when I stopped by to check out the test strips, and he got involved. He had access to the PPG paint codes/color mixes, and the painter was able to have a test batch of the base and mid coat paints mixed locally. He sprayed a test strip and it looks great, with 2 coats of mid the match looks dead on. So he ordered enough paint to finish the job, and said he should have it done tomorrow.....He also got the Thunderbike fender looking smooth and paint ready, did a nice job on it!!
Here's the Thunderbike fender after the body work, the pic is with the Colormania "base" paint that is not going to be used, he painted the base coat planning on matching the color with the mid coat, which didn't work out on the test strip... but you can see how straight he got it.
Hard to tell with the angle and lighting on the test strip, but the lower right is the PPG paint with 2 mid coats, and matches great!!

The painter finished up painting my parts today!! I'm really happy with the way they turned out, they look really nice and the color match is perfect!! It was late in the day when he finished, and they needed a little more drying time, so I'll pick them up when he opens Monday.....
Here's a few pics of the fenders....

Thank you Sarah!! He did a great job, I couldn't be happier with the results, really glad I found this painter.....
The Badlands Illuminator Run-Brake-Turn Module/Load Equalizer I ordered came in today. Its plug-n-play and will eliminate any problems I would have had with switching to the 2 wire, 12v. LED run/turn signals and separate 3 wire, 12v. LED run/brake light (like fast blinking) .....I'll install the lights in the fender after I pick it up, and also extend the wires that they come with, they're too short to reach the connector....

Picked up my parts from the painter today!! ....I used a two part epoxy to install the stainless steel mesh behind the vents slots I made in the chin spoiler. Tomorrow I'm gonna install the lights in the fender, and try to figure out/run the wiring from the rear fender, harness connector, back and connect to the new lights....need to get it done before installing the fender.
Here's the spoiler with the mesh installed, the 1st pic also shows the seat mounting brackets, that I also had painted....
