Rocker B: MY ROCKER C MOD THREAD

Thanks man!! and ya, I could have cut or ground the fender, but it was easier and faster to just re-drill the 2 holes in the mounting plate and push it forward, but it does JUST fit, if the fuse box was any bigger, I probably would have HAD to cut fender....

Well, mirror polished tins are actually what I was planning from the very beginning of my mods too and, sooner or later, will do what I have in mind...
Mirror polished tin surface like BO CVO models, vivid black old school flames with a thin orange profile...that's what I'd consider a true masterpiece but it's a complicated procedure and would take time, money and skills...
For the moment my focus is on the 15 lt. Thunderbike stretched and console-less alu tank and matching seat I should shortly receive...

.......I got the seat mounted!! I had to elongate the slots in the mounting brackets where it bolts to the fender/frame, and replace the bolts where the bracket mounts to the seat, with lower profile, carriage bolts. The carriage bolts let the seat sit down tight on the fender and frame. It fits great, like the seat was made for this fender, very happy with the way it worked out!! I still have to decide if I want to have them painted with the fender, or leave them black...

I've got to toss my 2 cents out. I keep staring at that new rear fender and I like an awful lot about it. Except, that little wing hanging down just right of the mounting bolts. Is that for structural integrity? If not, I'd consider smoothing out that line into the rest of the fender.
Okay, carry on!!

My front fender is shipping today!!! It got a little iffy as to whether I would be getting it.....I called Mon. to check on it and talked to Rich the owner of Bitchin Seats. It's a good thing I called. He told me he was about to make my fender and was going over the order with me. It was then that he informed me that the 21" fender that he makes is designed for his wheel, or other wheels that need to be centered between the forks and it wouldn't work for me (I have the stock off-set setup)....anyway, after explaining that I really didn't want to change the hub, spacers, and grind down caliper mounts, he said he MAY be able to make me a fender to work with what I have, but he needed to check it out because the tolerances would be tight. On Thur. he told me it SHOULD be fine and was going to "set up different tooling to make this special fender for you".....Well, at 12:29 A.M. today, (he told me he got there at 4:30 A.M) I got these texts (out of order) and pics!!.... looks like I'm getting a one-off custom!! Huge thanks to Rich at Bitchin Seats for going way out of his way on this one!!!! The fender had to be made to mold around the right fork tube, with a small indent for the upper mount. I think he did an awesome job!!
