As he brought up the idea maybe Nostradamus feels like opening up a separate thread calling for "LOTS-OF-SLOTS"

Well, "LOTS-OF-SLOTS" might be a funny title for a SLOTMANIA (a well known mental disorder affecting many HD bikers) thread, in which everyone can show his/her slotted parts!
What about chromed slotted hand control levers? One of the future mods I'm thinking about is adding them but chromed version is not so nice and has a cheap taped cover (45075-07) while contrast cut version is much nicer (55798-10A)... Was considering to buy a contrast cut kit and have it chromed...

So...I got the tires mounted today!! I decided to change out the valve stems with ones that are 1/2" shorter/lower profile then what the wheels came with, before having the tires mounted, with Ride-On!!....I think I'm already to go!! Plan on pulling things apart Fri. afternoon and hopefully have it back together Sat. if I don't hit any snags, like spacer issues....I also have to raise the front fender a bit, but that should be easy!!

Here's the list of parts I'm installing...
Southern Motorcycle Works: wheels, rotors, 70t pulley
Drag Specialties: chrome wheel spacers
Progressive: 422 adjustable shocks (rear), 2" lowering kit/springs (front)
HD: chrome brake caliper mounting bracket (rear), chrome axel covers (rear)
Top Down Products: chrome axel covers (front)
Kuryakan: lighted vertical side mount license plate holder, rear fender license plate mounting holes cover
Diamond Engineering: chome axel adjuster bolts

If I do decide to upgrade later to ANY air-ride, it will be Legend!!, I have it on my Breakout and love it...It has a lot of advantages over the Shotgun and I hear of far fewer problems with it.

Ya, check it out...They air up a lot faster than SS, have handle bar controls, you don't have to remove them to change your tranny fluid, and again, I rarely hear of people needing "customer service"...just a few of the advantages!!

I made handle bar controls for the SS myself. Never had any issues with them and oil change is just two bolts (or use a sucker to get the oil out!!)

Happy with the SS....

Legend has a flashy website!! hahahaha

Glad you've had good luck and are happy with the SS...When I was trying to decide on an air-ride system, I considered the SS, but was leery because of how often I saw, (and still see) people on this forum posting about different problems with it. A lot of these same people do also talk about SS's great customer service, which is nice, but at the same time, their needing service!!
