I installed (or should say plugged in) the FP3 today.....and WOW!! Night and day improvement over the Xieds and HD download....The first thing you notice is the sound... nice deep rumble... the new map/ tune eliminated the tinny sound from the 2 into 2s....It runs great, snappy throttle and NO more decal pop!!! I only got a short test run in today, before the rain came.... but I'm looking forward to a longer ride tomorrow!!!

Here's the "install" (lol) pics...Just plug it in and slide it down out of the way!!

Here's sound comparison vid, before, and then after the FP3....before had a noticeable metallic/tinny sound to it, almost sounded like it had a loose exhaust heat shield vibrating, when compared to after the FP3/map flash...

Audio's not great, much more noticeable difference in person, but you can get an idea....

Nice mods. Great looking bike. I went to Freedom Amendments on my second Breakout but I'm going back to the Big Radius. Sounds way better.

Thanks Dalt!!

Well....I went ahead and ordered a pair of Progressive 422 adjustable shocks!!!....My plan was to use the Dead Creek Cycle kit to lower it 1.5"... but after reading more about how the ride would be pretty bad..... I decided the 1"-1.25" I originally wanted to lower it, might be a better idea...So I ordered a cheap "bolt" kit (Ebay $15)...but after getting it and reading the instructions and realizing I had to remove the shocks and have them pressed to get the retaining ring out....you see where this is going....Progressive 422s, I'll get a better ride, and can drop it exactly where I want it after seeing how high the front-end sits with the new 21" wheel/tire and the Progressive 2" drop kit installed.....Also ordered a new chrome Billet "Stealth Pointed Visor" headlight housing and a chrome Daymaker from Octane Lighting....tried a (china cheap) add-on visor, but that didn't cut it!!!.....New shift linkage, lever, brake lever and pedal pad.... on it's way too!!!

Here's a few pic of the new Arlen Ness "10 Gauge" chrome pegs/shifter peg...

Before..

You're lowering the back and going with a 21 inch up front?

You probably know this already but be ready the steering to get really "heavy" on you at low speeds...... Was a pain in the *** for me when I had my 21 inch wheel upfront.
Until I got the HHI raked trees to fix the rake. Rides like a dream now.

Keep us posted.

I'm dropping the front 2" after the 21" raises it 1" so the bike will sit 1" lower over all...
