What to look for in a used Rocker C and avoid

I think Sarah and Alain's Rockers are two of the nicest custom examples I've seen. Makes you want to run right out and find one. Well done!
I can't imagine anyone wanting to ride on that elevated pillion seat though- not that the Breakout stock pillion is any better. it sucks just as much but in a different way. lol.

Go Sarah!
From a collectability standpoint (and the Rocker isn't there yet, but may get there for its uniqueness and low production numbers), factory original tends to have the greatest value.
Personally, I wouldn't consider a displacement increase from 96 to 103 worth going after. Having ridden several examples of each, I can't really tell the difference between the two engines.

I agree 100%. If and when they are collectible, it will be the stock ones that will be desirable. I also think the lowest numbers were in the regular Rocker and not the Rocker C, so that may make a difference. With that said, I won't live long enough to see it be collectible and therefore plan to ride the chit out of mine.

That's good to know. I haven't talked with anyone with actual experience. Which seat do you have for her?

We switch off on the bikes once in a while though, like for a change of pace on trips.

We have the stock fold-out FXCWC seat, another version of the foldout seat with an added backrest, a non-foldout stock seat from an FXCW, and the "touring strut" rear seat designed for the FXCW (much more solid and comfortable than the fold-out seat). We rarely use any of the back seats any more though, because my wife has claimed the Rocker as her solo bike, and makes me ride a separate bike (our Dyna) when we ride together.

I modified my stock two up seats on my first one, and am in the middle of doing it on the second one. I have been taking pictures of the process, and will post them when I get the seats back from the appolstery shop. The passenger seat functions the same way, as does my seat, they are just way more comfortable and the passenger pad no longer gets stored under the riders seat when not in use. The support assembly still folds away, but the pillion pad has grown so it doesn't fit anymore, therefor when not in use it goes on the shelf, and it allowed me to repurpose that storage space for more padding and more lumbar support for me.
