Roadking bags look nice on the deluxe.

I do think they look good/great on your bike. But IMO the HD Springer style bags "look" best (proportionately speaking). They seem to flow with the lines of the fender and look great with bag guards.

The RKC Bags are probably better functionally for sure.

xmen,those springer bags sure do look awesome,and the fact that they aren't stiff like the RKC bags lends to the look! I am happy to finally have some storage for me and the lady.

LOL - sorry for the plagiarism but your Deluxe is one of the nicest I've ever seen (the OP's is cool too). Stole that pic from your story of Willie G's admiration of it at lunch one day. The other pic is the back end of my Deluxe and I decided to go with the Springer bags because of your pic. They are only part-time residents but give me what I need when I need it.

No problem at all I took it as a compliment that you used it as an example.
