Yeh you know the ol' sayin- 'good, fast and cheap - pick two' -
When I had RB Racing make my 2-1 open pipe for my Big Dog 107" chopper, took them 3 months. Custom machine work to my design spec on heads, cylinders, pistons, crank from another shop, 2 months (included cryo treating parts as well). Neither places were cheap either.
Sorta typical with small high quality shops. But very pleased once I got the parts on the bike. The real deal for sure / done right the 1st time.
