Default Picking up a new Heritage in 2 weeks

After bouncing back and forth between a Street Glide, FB Lo and Heritage, I'll be picking up my new Billet Silver FLSTC when I get back from a biz trip to Vegas next week.

While I liked the way the Street Glide rode and handled, I came to the realization that I just didn't need/want that much bike especially when the girl isn't with me.

As for the FB Lo, I've always liked it, ridden them a bunch of times, but came to the realization that while it would have been the perfect bike for "me", it wouldn't be the perfect bike for me AND the gf...without sinking another couple grand into it right out of the gate.

The Heritage is really the sweet spot for both of us. Great for me when she's not with me and very nice for both of us when she is.

Funny...the main reason I never considered the Heritage until late last year was because of the "over the top" (IMO) studs/tassles on the previous years models. When I saw the '16s and noticed that they backed off on that design element, I immediately liked it.

I'll miss my Sporty, but I'm sure we'll both love the Heritage even more. While our Winter in NE Ohio has been very tolerable so far, Spring cannot get here soon enough...especially now.

My first Harley was a Heritage. I loved that bike.

I rode mostly solo, so I would remove the back seat.

I prefer the old style bags but nonetheless the Heritage is a great versatile bike. Add a luggage rack and you can put a big bag on the bag and take some trips. I have been a passenger on my own Heritages and your old lady might prefer wider footpegs or even floorboards and a better passenger seat. Just my 2c.

Congrats.

Thanks all. I'm definitely stoked.

UK...I had the luggage rack thrown in as part of the deal and will definitely be adding passenger floorboards. Enjoy that new FB Lo S!

I got the S at the end of August and have 7000 miles on it already.

Enjoy your Heritage.
