Hey, I posted a little while ago that I found a signature on my FatBoy S fuel tank under the leather tank panel. I asked if anyone knew anything or even if their bikes were signed? People wanted to see a picture, well I finally managed to get some pictures of it for you guys to see.

 

Nothing more than a Quality Control marking by some Inspector on the assembly line.

 

Lol, I have something similar on my Fat Boy Lo. I don't think it's really a builder's signature. Probably just a QC mark or a marking from the assembly line to tell them where to send which tank. There are similar markings hidden other places with the same type of yellow china marker.

 

I've seen markings before on my previous harleys but nothing that actually looked like a signature. Just curious about it and thanks for replying.

Looks like "Fb" to me - Fatboy?

Looks to be a capital F with a lower case b to designate it being a fatboy tank.
