Default Brilliant silver Pearl - Hard bags

Decided to put hard bags on bike, ordered the cyclevision baggertail. I was going to order the factory hard bags from Harley, already painted , less hassle for me. The dealer can't seem to find a year that the Road King came with the Brilliant silver pearl without a pinstripe. It can;t be the RKC( it came with the leather bags) If I go with other bags off the street glide etc and can get them in the right color, is there a difference in the size of the bag. Thanks.

I dont think there is any difference in the stock bracket between the road king and other touring models that hold the bags. There might be some depth and length difference in the bags themselves. but I think they should be interchangeable. When I put hard bags on mine.. I never found any info on any of them being different.

I don't know the answers to your questions, but if you can't get it sorted out, look into buying paint from ColorRite. I had a Brilliant Silver Pearl Sportster and painted the fairing with their matching paint. It was a perfect match.

ColorRite is indeed the way to go, if needed. You can get your color in qt/pt cans or already in a rattle can.
