98 Heritage long haul touring seat? I need a tested recommendation for an all day (500 mile plus) touring seat for a 1998 Heritage. Thanks in advance

 

I put the on a Mustang with the backrest. I easily did 650 miles.

 

I've done a bunch (at least 30 of them) of 350 - 450 mile days ( 8-9 hrs long) on our 07 Heritage and a LOT more of 3-4 hr daily rides.

IMO -- the Stock Heritage seat is the BEST seat I've ever had on any of my bikes... I love it and if I ever replace it.. it will be for another stock seat..

 

I have a '91 Heritage that I bought new. In '92 I put a Corbin dual tour saddle on it. We have done ALOT of 600+mile days. Since then I have owned a Road King and currently own a street Glide. A Corbin seat is my first mod. BTW way the seat on my Heritage is worn but still in great condition. Good luck in your search.

 

Mustang wide solo seat was the best mod I ever did on my '94 Heritage.


Not sure they still make it though.

 

We sure do! We do not fit the 1997-99 Heritage Springer FLSTS, but the rest of the 1984-99 Softail line is fine.
