It "grinds" into the bar. Not sure that's the correct way to describe it but it does what a set screw does lol. Now if for some reason the the riser clamps were to come loose the bars are going to move but as long as they're tight your bars aren't moving with the set screw in there. I got 16" gangsters on my bike and I'm constantly yanking on the bars to move it around in the garage or whatever and they're solid
got a picture of them on there?. I bought a set of the 14 evil apes. then sent them to me but I have to send them back cause they're crooked. the new set will be here tomorrow. still have to order the cables but don't want to do so until I know which risers I'm gonna use
