Why get the HD daymaker for $500+ when you can get it from the guys who make it for HD. JW Speaker 8700 Evolution 2 is the same thing at $280 on amazon:
Amazon.com: JW Speaker 8700 Evolution 2 - 7" Round LED Headlight - Black: Automotive Amazon.com: JW Speaker 8700 Evolution 2 - 7" Round LED Headlight - Black: Automotive

I however went cheaper and got the truck lite phase 7 for $170 (they make the Kuryakyn Phase 7 but for about $50 cheaper).

Interested in putting this headlight on my night train but not 100% sure what all needs to be changed for this to happen. Has anyone or does anyone know what hard parts i would need for this conversion.

you would have to swap the whole front end on a night train...these fit FL front ends (fat legs) an the train has a FX front end.

I really want to put one of these on my Fatboy, but after installing three of them on other bikes I am not sure I want to deal with the headache again. I am sure some of you have had these go together without issue, but every single one I have put on needed "something" in order to fit right. The well-nuts that come with the kit are garbage and they don't ever feel like they really "grab" when you tighten them. The light ring that goes in back of the lamp has NEVER lined up with the holes for the well-nuts. The two halves have rarely matched up without some sort of gap. The gap on top looks horrible so you have to sacrifice for a small gap on the bottom that then exacerbates the issue with the lamp ring not lining up with the well nut holes. I love the look, still debating.

Can I get away with just doing the lower sliders and triple trees? I think the tubes are all 41mm diameter.

No, you’ll need tubes too. I pretty sure the Train has 49mm tubes.

My train is a 04 and with a digital caliper they measured out at 41mm. But I did find out that the tubes are 2" shorter on the FL.

I stand corrected. Tubes really shouldnt be hard to find used at a reasonable price. Even new ones aren’t that bad.

I have a set of stock FLS sliders I’d let go. I’ve been hanging on to them becasue I was half planning on machining the fender mounting lugs off of them and having them powdercoated for a potential fenderless build, but I dont think I’ll probably do that project anymore. They are just the brushed and clearcoated stock sliders off of a 2013 FLS. Send me a PM if you want em. I have fork tins too, but you dont need any of that
