Default Newb question on 2010 Fat Boy Lo

Sorry in advance if this is a stupid newb question?

This is my first Harley & rode on the freeway for the first time today. My question is that when I go wide open throttle on it the whole bike vibrates hard. The seat, foot rests, bars & just about every part of the bike vibrates hard until I let off the throttle once I get to the speed I want to go.

I got up to 85 today & went WOT with with it & it is crazy how it feels, maybe that's what it's supposed to feel like, I don't know.

I love this bike, just not used to this type of bike. I have always ridden super sports, so that's my backround.

Thanks for your input!

Doesn't sound right. My 2015 Fatboy (not a low) is very stable under the conditions you describe. I have to watch myself not to exceed 85 MPH.

Something sounds amiss? It only has 3800 miles on it.

If it were my guess I would almost think it was a motor mount, maybe?

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't feel unstable at all. When I let go of the throttle & cruise there is no vibration at all...only under WOT

Sounds like I need to get it into a shop.

i get a little wobble now and then due to it being more or less a solid wheel, but other than that it rides smooth.

Coming from my car experience, I would think a motor mount. Not sure how the motor is mounted on the Fatboy, but I know in my car, when I'm hard on it, i can feel the engine vibration when my mounts went out once. That is where I would start. Hope you get issue resolved soon.

Tires only have 3800 miles on them, they are the stock tires that came with the bike.

No flat spots either, I got the bike up to 80mph yesterday & let off the throttle & it coasted smooth as butter.

It only vibrates/shakes like hell under wide open throttle.
