Default Advice on solo saddle

Looking for a solo saddle that is comfortable but also pushes rider up and/or back a little, to accomodate long legs on an 05 softail.

I've heard great things about the Danny Grey Buttcrack solo seat.

Still on the fence on about getting it.

Look at C&C, talk with Chuck. Another option is to have an HD solo re-foamed. There are several other decent seat manufacturers out there but I prefer the C&C. I've owned a few other but am not going to diss them.

Seat advice is very subjective. What works for one my not work for another. I can ride all day on my Lepera Barebones while others can only do 30-50 miles on one. I tend to fidget more in the stock Fatboy LO seat more then any other.

I find my Buttcrack very comfortable, but I'm short with short legs so not sure how that would work for you.

Check out Mustang. I have one on my Street Glide and love it. Probably going to get one for the Slim soon.

I agree with SG Jim. I've had many seats from Corbin, Danny Grey, C&C, Le Perra, Custom and my favorite (most comfortable) was the Mustang solo. Maybe not the slickest looking but super comfortable.

I sold my Lepera bare bones solo gel seat not because of comfort but because I felt like I was sliding off the back or sides at times.

Went with the all leather Danny Gray buttcrack and really like it. Quality is top notch, pushes me back a tad which I like (5'10) and the leather makes you stick to it unlike the vinyl.

The butt cheek divider down the middle of the seat looks cool as well.

Another vote for the Danny Gray Buttcrack Solo here. I didn't note any substantial positioning change from the stock seat on my Slim, but the Buttcrack Solo is much more comfortable. After about a thousand miles the seat seemed to "break in". As previously stated, the seat keeps you planted, but still allows you to move around a little to adjust your position. For reference I am 5'-9" with a 30" inseam.
