Question Crossbones with 1925 seat

I've had my Bones for a year and a half and really enjoy it but not digging the stock seat on the highway. I feel like I'm sliding off and have to hang on the bars to stay on.

The 1925 seat looks to be deeper dished. Does it worj better at freeway speeds??

I have a WLA reproduction seat on my bonez... it's the same shape as the 1925 seat.

It is WORLDS better than the stock seat. Really holds you in place. Even with less padding, it's more comfortable. It's not the amount of padding...it's the shape.

You will love the difference. Go for it.

Couple pics to show you the "dish" shape of the seat.

Yep. I still like your bike.

Where does one buy a WLA reproduction seat?

Thanks.

The place I bought mine is now out of business.

I did a quick search on the part number: 47-0529

I found it here...but it's over $100 more than I paid for mine.

Thanks FBB. Your bike looks great. Bars, fender, seat, pipes. All goes well together.

Thanks a lot. I love the replica seat. Expensive, but cool. They have several other options too.

This HD seat is the one I have, I found it online for much less. Including all the mounting hardware:

Your bike is a perfect color for the brown/tan seats... Love the green and the star. That paint scheme would have looked awesome on the xbones back when they made em.

I ordered a brown one last night after you posted the link. I'd been looking at all the usual sites that come up when searching for spring, tractor or pogo seats. Searching WLA brought a whole new set of choices.

I always wondered why the Xbones didn't get an OD paint scheme.
