yeah, little too far.

Funny, now I'm looking at privately owned bikes. I didn't know HD would finance those too... I can get a much newer bike for the same money

I would keep looking for more bikes to find one that will suite you as sitting down. But again seats. Floorboard and etc will make it differences but do know your budget to willing change all that out. Good luck with finding the right one

you're getting your panties all in a twist over a crappyass stock seat. never have I ever kept a stock seat, I always change to an after market seat..but I'd not pay that much for a used bike. I just bought my 2012 FB Lo for 12500, it had 750 miles on it, so it's basically brand new, now that was a deal.. if you want the bike that much, go ahead and buy it. I'm sure someone here can recommend another seat or sell you one.

I've gone through 1000's of dollars on seats finding the one that is right. I don't like the looks of the seat on the bike and it sucks that they won't let you do some swapping. Got a Corbin solo seat on my 011 Fatboy and it's great where as the stock one sucked. Also ended up with 13" apes to make the fit for me.

I'm in agreement with some of the others here. $14K for a ten year old bike is a lot of money. I'm not saying it's a bad deal, but I'd better be in love with that bike, especially with as many used bikes as there are on the market. There is always a financing option.

Secondly, if the dealer REALLY wanted to sell it, they'd swap the seat. It could be that perhaps they get the sense that you will buy the bike regardless, so why should they put out any extra effort?

To get the best deal, be prepared to walk. You say to them you wanna change the seat, they say no, then you say, "I guess we're done here then. Thanks for your time," and get up to leave.

he's Canadian. with the CAD being roughly .75 on the USD it's roughly $10.500 to us here in The USA

much fairer price, although some will say it's still too ,uch because "book" is around $9000
