Sören, family in the island is fine... we were lucky it moved just enough north to avoid serious damage.

Here in Orlando, if it continues on the projected path, we should be fine. We will have strong winds and rain, but it will not pass through us... there is a benefit to the hurricane moving fast in its path... that means that we will not be subject to a stationary system dropping a lot of rain.

Not so much the folks in the east coast... lots of friends and co-workers that had to evacuated due to being close to the coast...

I sold the tank because even if I go back to getting a Sportster it will be a Roadster... and that comes with the 3.3 tank... no sense in keeping it. I had kept it thinking that I would get another 48... that was before the Roadster came out... it really made no sense to keep it... that sale helped cover the cost of the slip-ons and still have some $ left for gas

I know... so many times that I have said that I was going to do them and just procrastinated... finally sent to get it done!

Thank you for the kind thoughts. We are all here hoping that it continues to move east...

That additional light in the fender is a nice touch...

Not relocating the license plate... so the parts on that second link are not needed.

Found a thread on here on the fender edge light... using the one from the Sporster... same light I installed on the 48 I had...

hummm....

Let my tape something with the same thickness of that light to the rear fender. Just to make sure the new tire will not rub on it... before I spend the money on the light... Thank you for the idea!
