Personally for me it's mostly about the style. I really prefer the rack mounting and being supported by the struts because of the styling and ease of mind on the struts taking the weight distributed and by 4 points of contact. I also like that it's quick disconnect because I also plan on getting a passenger seat that I can put on as needed and discreet passenger pegs for those once in a while times that a gal may get to ride along.

Thanks mate I would greatly appreciate it. Have really been wanting the solo rack and doing this modification will save me a few hundred dollars from the plate relocate kit and the ugly light relocate kit, and I'll be able to keep what already looks so much better.

Oh crap! I forgot!! Got side tracked working with my son in the car...

Worked on rebuilding the steering rack and front suspension... Mounted the front suspension:

lol! My new giant garbage cans that Orange County decided I needed have quickly become workbenches as well.

hahahahahaaha, I know!! these thing are so big that they work perfectly for a standing bench! lol I hated them at first, now I am like...humm coooool!
