Is that a BMW GS in the background ? I've had a couple of those over the years, the old 1150 & the 1200, great bikes.
Yes. It's the HD bag. 10% off when purchased with the bike. It's good quality too.

Yea, that's a '14 model water cooled R1200GS. It's my rainy-day/cross-country/2-up bike. It's fast, handles really well, has every feature you could want and is just a great all-around bike.

Every morning I have to choose between the two. I pick the HD about 70-80% of the time. If it's raining when I leave the house, or if the forecast is 90% or higher chance of rain, I'll take the BMW. It's good on really cold days too, because it has heated grips, hand guards and a windshield.

Cool is in the eye of the beholder. When I'm 500 miles into a 600 mile day and still smiling, I find it pretty cool

It also doesn't hurt to have more power than a V-Rod, with less weight than a Sportster.

Nothing un-cool about the GS/GSA & it's even better when you've got a slim S parked up alongside it

No. The HD bag has leather straps that wrap around the Swingarm. I'm thinking of getting the Dead Creek bracket and adding a L-bracket to attach a side-mount license plate. Then I'm free to install the HD luggage rack.

Yesterday, while looking for some parts for my BO, noticed that "La Rosa" is selling some items dedicated to Slim S in "uniform", swingarm bag, tool bag, seat, etc. Dunno if anybody could be interested, just wished to share this info I discovered by chance.

Thanks for sharing about La Rosa! I've been looking all over for green canvas bags!
