Default Kuryakyn vs Custom Dynamics LED Lighting

Thinking about putting LED lighting on my '03 Fatboy. Wondering if anyone has any input as to which is better, Custom Dynamics or Kuryakyn, or if they are pretty much the same. I can find the Kuryakyn significantly discounted at some dealers. Custom Dynamics are pretty much steadfast as far as pricing goes. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your input.

I like the CD much better. The LED clusters in the turn signals are much brighter than the Kury lights I had a few bikes ago. Plus, they are plug' n play, and they eliminated the need for a load equalizer. Of course your bike pre-dates CanBUS, so I'm not sure if they do the same for you.

To be fair, my Kury experience was a few years ago.

A buddy of mine just got the Custom Dynamics at the local Harley dealer and had to purchase the Load Equalizer also.

CD...now depending on your year if you need the load equalizer. Call them up, they're savvy to what you need, they do have a decent customer service.

CD all the way for me, even though I've never dealt with any other lighting company. But their customer service department is top notch, their warranty is great and their light are even better. I've had their lights on 2 bikes and if I ever get another one, their lights will be there too.

I put CD on mine and wife's scoot. Love em.

What I think sets them apart is CD's customer service. I had to replace one of my turn signals after a year of ownership and they sent a new one without hesitation.

I put CD turns and tail on my bike last winter, they've been great all season. My buddy gave me a bunch of good natured crap for doing it at the time - then 2 weeks after he brought his new Roadglide home this summer, he shows up with CD turns front and rear...

Have run both on my Slim. CD is superior in every aspect, in my opinion.

Custom dynamics is the way to go dude.
If you're unsure wether you need a load equalizer or not just call them. They will set you up with what you need.
