Stainless or chrome plated rotors
Anyone install either a stainless or chrome plated rotor?? If so, what do they look like after a few thousand miles??? Thanks....

I've got a stainless front rotor. It doesn't "shine", but it doesn't rust either. Chromed rotors are for show bikes, or low mile bikes, IMNSHO. Ones I've seen on high milers didn't look that hot, especially when the chrome starts flaking, and it will flake.
There are a lot of different stainless rotors. Russell makes some good ones.

even tho skip doesnt like chrome......he's right on that one stainless is the way to go!

I agree with Skip, once your pads wear through the chrome, it doesn't look so great any longer.
