Hi Recently I got a Heritage 103ci and Im a bit lost with it
For the last 6 years Ive riding my RoadKing 1999 and I really feel the diference
why this engine is so noise? is it that way? Been cold sounds so much when it get hot sound is less but anyway I think sounds so much

Im gonna change the pipes is it really necesary to remap and change filter
Not doing this the engine is on risk?

Usually you don't need to remap if you just do pipes. But you will if you add an intake.
Ride safe.

 

Best upgrade is exhaust ,intake , cams and new lifters ,good tuner and have it dynoed professionally and you will have a different machine . I have a 13 SG and it needs same thing . Lifters are noisy when you first start . I also have an 09 FB with the upgrades and total different machine . Worth the money .
