Thinking - Now might be a good time for you to suggest what we did at work yrs ago---
All the riders at work fought for and got Motorcycle Only parking areas in all our plants.
The Co. put 4 ft tall post every 4 ft around the area to keep cagers out and 1 ft wide diamond-plate steel on the blacktop so our Kick (jiffy) stands wouldn't sink into the blacktop..
I parked in the open, a truck parked next to me and he was in a hurry because he was late. the Stealership charges $200 for a estimate. Should I go there or find someplace else.
The person who hit you should have insurance that pays for your repair so does it really matter what the estimate costs? It's their dime.
Get them to file a claim, IF they'll own up to it. Sometimes they'll admit to doing it but when it comes to them filing on their insurance, their memory goes bad.
I'm lucky at work because we have a ton of spaces and very few cars. I even park my car side ways, taking up 2 spaces.
I live close o a beach/resort area, they actually have motorcycle parking. only problem is, sometimes people park scooters in them, hate scooters!
I live in a WORSE area... Scooter parking, electric vehicle parking, but NO motorcycle parking. In the scooter stalls, it specifically says "no motorcycles".

plane and simple he was in a hurry and didn't look. I have a appointment at the dealership tomorrow. I sure is uncomfortable to ride with bent bars. I am going with 14" burley apes. back fender most likely will be the clockworks 4" stretch fender I think. Lets see what else might be wrong first. Body shops don't want to touch bikes.
