Hey Gunnysgt,

Curious to what all was required to mount that bobber style air filter cover on your slim S. Was it a direct fit or was anything else required?

Pretty sure it is a Harley accessory for that bike.

It is, but the stock AC has a wedge shaped spacer between the actual AC and the giant AC cover. It comes off with a light tug. Then, the bobber cover just attaches with a screw on the front, and a small washer type spacer in the backside.

Default 117" bolt on kit

I guess I will never leave a Harley stock! I ordered the 117" screamin eagle kit for my Slim S, what sold me is the low compression and the winter pricing! should be a very streetable setup. Now I just have to wait, kit is on back order. The numbers I've seen so far are pretty consistent. Time will tell?

Sure hope you don't mess up a great engine.

Default Softail Slim S (Black) with Rinehart 2 into 1

Finally some nice weather in NJ, so I took her out for a quick ride and did a fast walk around of the new Rinehart 2 into 1 I had installed.

The bike is a blast to ride red light to red light, just gobs of torque and now she sounds every bit the part.

I also decided I like the floorboards but I have big feet so I got the extended break and gear kits. Very comfortable and for some reason, could be a figment of my imagination but I seem to get into N a lot easier now. Go figure, just wanted to share.
