What SLV said. Click on my signature... I have documented there what I did. I was not going to get rid of the nice base on the turn signals and then have to deal with tag relocation... simple mod to the rack mount is all that is needed to make it work.

I love that the windshield goes well with the dark theme on the bike. Easy to remove when I want a naked look on the bike...

Another photo from today. Went with my cousin (the Yamaha RoadStar in front of my Slim S, used to be mine. I sold it to him a few years ago... he is taking good care of it.)

This was taken at a dealer. Shows the V&H short shots in black on the S. Sweet look. I bet the sound is awesome.

Nice! Looks like it matches the color of the grenade in the background...

Thanks Wachuco. Was wondering if that rack might clear the pillion pad so that I dont have to remove it just to use the rack.

My go-to helmet is the Bell Rogue. I bought this right when they came out a couple years ago. I had no idea I would have a military themed bike. Good helmet though. Fits great, not too noisy. The face mask attachment is really handy on cold mornings or long highway rides.

A little industrial strength Velcro and my collection of moral patches get used.

I made the OD helmet but have yet to wear it. We have no helmet law in Pa. and I will admit I rarely wear one until it gets really cold or riding to Maryland.

Love the looks of that helmet. I feel more comfortable with a modular/full face helmet... I was thinking about this one to replace my Nolan when the time comes...
