Thats pretty cool!!! Please post some pics when you get it cleaned up/mounted
on the bike. FWIW, my son graduated MCRD San Diego in July and is now
at Pensicola for Aircraft Mechanics school. Thank you for your service!!

I mounted it on the bike today, changed my mounting system a bit, it looks GREAT, much better than the original. Congrats on your son becoming a Marine, wearing the Eagle Globe and Anchor is a well earned acccomplishment. I was stationed at Pensacola many moons ago, it's a great base. The WWII case is the same size as the modern one. A 50 cal case is too big to look right

I'm hoping to ride more this fall than I did last fall on my 48, so I installed a Memphis Shades batwing fairing and spoiler windshield this afternoon... got the trigger lock mount so I can remove it in seconds next summer. I need to relocate the front turn signals...

Definitely interested to see how the bike turns out, but am liking the direction you're going. What wheels are those?

Hi glad you like it , switchback wheels front is 13x80/ 18, rear is 160 x70 / 17. Bolt strait on just the rear need a 19xmm sprocket spacer.

It was my choice of wheel cause of weight saving from stock wheels , 4 kg for the front and 2.5 for the rear , handles like a Harley should handle .

There is a picture of what your will look like with black wheels , or maybe live it original

Looking great!!!

Got wind deflectors installed during a beach trip to Ocean Isle Beach, NC last weekend. This weekend I de-badged the tank emblems, mounted my new emblems along with a brass HD challenger coin on the points cover. Mounting new badges was a PITA. That is extremely hard to get right the first time.

Keep up the good work all. Looking great out there!

Some cool stuff going on here. The thread has been quiet for a few days, then several people check in with mods.

Batwing
Ammo can
Wind splitter windshield
And Switchback wheels. I love the Switchback wheels. Best kept secret. Pick up new, take-off wheels for $500-600 for the pair, powder-coat to taste and it looks as good as the &2500 wheels.

I finally got my post/seat kit and will be ditching the coils soon. I need to find a machine shop to drill a 2" hole where the shock passes through. I don't think my little drill press will handle it. I should be done by this next weekend.

Did you get a pogo seat set up post?? If so, from whom? I planned on ordering a spring seat set up from Mother Road tomorrow but would actually prefer a pogo seat.
