My mods for my Slim S. Added ammo can saddle bags and passing light trim rings today. Last thing for next year will be a full exhaust and tuner.
This summer I had Custom dynamics License plate and fender strut lights, Thunderbike front turn signals, Innovv K1 Moto camera system, had seat redone by Mean City Cylces, new battery box and a Anti Gravity 720cca battery
Is that the Captain Itch crotch cooler? It looks like it covers the oil filler cap - is that right? If that's so I'm ordering one right now! The oil filler cap is the worst part and I was worried that the crotch cooler wouldn't go far enough.

Maybe I’m wrong, but that thing looks more like a cylinder cooker. Just doesnt make sense to me to inhibit airflow to an air-cooled engine, at all. The rear cylinder is prone to heat issues as it is

Air flow is from the front and plenty gets in there. If temp gets to be a problem standing still, that's why the Harley gods gave us EITMS.
If you're reducing felt heat, you are literally blocking radiant heat dissipation. Airflow comes from the front only in motion, when heat from a properly tuned engine shouldnt be a problem.

Factory stock cooked my leg regularly. It was a major problem.
The crotch cooler fixed that. EITMS got rid of it entirely.
I still keep the cooler on precisely because it covers the cap. I took it to Florida fresh from a Harley service. After having to backtrack three separate times to find my oil cap, I like the cooler there keeping it from ever blowing entirely out again.
It's a setting in the ECM. When the temp reaches a certain point the rear injector stops pumping gas and starts pumping air into the cylinder to cool it down.
