It is easily removed in 10 seconds by simply lifting it off the mounts, it is not the one with clamps like the older skinny fork softails had etc. It's just like the Road King.
When I get my bike, I will want one that I can put on, and take off easily. It looks good. Do you look through it, or over it. I test drove the Roadking, a couple of weeks ago, and hated looking through the big shield.
Went on another Harley ride day this weekend. Rode the Slim S a couple of more times, just to punish myself more. I am never going to make it until spring. You guys have put up some great pics of this bike, and are not making it any easier for me.

If youve ridden Harleys long enough to know what to expect, then the s'es practically sell them selves
Tough to pass up less your poor like me
Only picked mine up Wednesday but the build has begun. Blacked out shield, Aux lights, AC cover, Straightshots, and a few other things like black gas cap and gauge. These bikes were not made to be shiny when they were WLs. The last thing a WWII messenger riding these thru enemy lines wanted was anything to reflect sun or moon light and alert the snipers.
Definitely looks much better with the extra black vs chrome..I like the AC Cover too..............PLT 3082, I Co here
I've since added a black Motherwell rack, black crash bars and have gotten rid of 90% of any chrome on the bike. I'll post more pics when the rain ends around here, could be days

Really nice. I'm more and more curious about the windshield.
How is the wind protection?
Is there any buffeting?
Can you see over it?
Which height did you get?
