Live and learn. I'm glad you got it sorted out.

Congratulations, you must be relieved! Now make sure that side stand is locked in before you get off the bike.

To me it was. For me, its about having it look different, perform better,
and that no one else has done (locally)... Yes its a 11.5" rotor.

Dropped mine the other day, as I got off & put the side stand down it just rolled away & down she went ! I managed somehow to stop it hitting the floor by grabbing the left hand grip & brute force took over, certainly something I wouldn't want happening a second time, these bikes are bloody heavy.

Yes glad you caught it! They do weigh a ton! I always make sure stand is all the way down and the full weight of the bike has moved the sidestand into the locked position. It sometimes makes me nervous thinking the sidestand might break under the bikes weight as stated they weigh a million LBs.

Thanks! Don't worry, I check it, and then check it again.

Glad you caught it in time. Mine seemed to be on. I got of the bike, and left it for the day. It wasn't until I came in the next day, and found it laying on its side. I really think the kickstand needs some attention by Harley. I think it needs a stronger spring, and I would like to see the kickstand go farther forward when engaged. The bike is so low, that quite often when you swing the stand out with your foot, while on the bike, it actually kits the ground before finishing its travel. Maybe the heavier you are, the more of an issue this is.
