Why do I keep seeing people use these battery tenders? Is it because yall dont ride yalls bike enough? I rode a zx10-r before coming to the slim s and have never put a tender on my bike.. I replaced the stator when i got the bike and put a new battery in it and no tender needed.. it might have sat a month at most without me riding it, but never had an issue with my battery. Had the same battery for 5 years.

Nope. I don't even own a car. I have two bikes and ride daily. Both are on battery tenders.

Is it something you heard that was good for the batteries? Because if you ride it everyday, there should be no reason a tender would be needed, unless there was something wrong with your stator or battery.

Harley batteries are known to have much longer lives if kept on battery tenders. Even HD dealers put tender pigtails on bikes before delivery.

I put one on my BMW because I mostly use it for long trips and bad weather.

to anyone with the rush black slipons, have you noticed any discoloration on the ceramic coating? it seems mines are becoming grayish even though i wipe them after every ride.
they sound great but i am not too happy with the finish of them

I did an interesting mod the other day. The half moon footboards have a nice shape, but lack a spot at the top for your heal to rest on. I like to stretch out my legs on the bike. This little mod helps me stretch right out with my heels on or over my "Cruise bars".
