I wear contact lenses and use sunglasses with foam to cut down on the wind drying them out. I found sunglasses with the little reader inserts because I've reached "that age". I have astigmatism so bifocal contacts would be problematic to fit if they even make them. Anyway I wish I could find transition sunglasses with the readers. Then I would be all set.

The glasses I got from SportRX are a lined bi-focal with Transitions lens and they're great.

I wore hard contacts for years because of my astigmatism but they've made such great strides that now soft lenses are able to correct it.

Had Lasik done also, lasted about 15 years. Wish it would have lasted longer but back to glasses when driving now. I use prescription sunglasses with the half and either the my regular or the sunglasses with my 3/4 helmet. Depends on if I will need sunglasses at my destination. Just flip the visor(s) down with either pair.

Wife has a pair of Panoptix (bend over too like Oakley) but they have held up longer than the prescription LOL. She can still use them but not optimally.
We're going to both need new pairs as I don't have prescription yet. Thanks for this thread because I'm going to look into Wiley X now.

Lasik is not one of my first choices, I would have to wear glasses for close up. I would rather wear glasses for distance and see things up close without glasses.
With that said, I have 2 sets of prescription safety lens sun glasses. One is Bolle and the other is Oakley with removable lenses. Both were pricey, but well worth it when taking a rock or other debris in the eye.
