Default Frenched trim ring and Truck-lite headlamp?

I have a 2011 Fatboy with deluxe passing lamps on it. I put D&K's LED bulbs in the passing lights and really like them. They made the headlight look so yellow that I just ordered a Truck-Lite headlight and a frenched trim ring for the headlight so that I won't see it sticking out for 1/2". Now I'm thinking it might look weird if I don't order frenched trim rings for the passing lights? Anyone have a similar setup?

I do, and yes, I think you need similar rings for the lights. Just my opinion. I went with visor rings for all including the turn signals.

Default Frenched trim ring and Truck-lite headlamp?

Having the same trim rings all around ties it all together. I have the visor style on all three lights.

Well I got the truck-lite in and bought the Frenched trim rings but can't get it on the headlight because the light sticks out 1/2" further than a regular headlight. Any suggestions?

Loosen the screw really loose on the bottom, start the ring on the top, pull it apart and work it down the sides until it's in place then tighten the screw.

Thanks for the reply! The headlight on my Fatboy only has the screw at the bottom that threads into the headlight bucket. So I can't spread the ring to go around it. It pivots over the headlight .Really having a hard time with it!

Take a breath, some rings you start turned slightly, push on squarly and then twist into place for the bottom bolt.
