Anyone out there have those newer pipes that Vance and Hines have out in the trual dual for ther softails? New to me anyway....I just saw them in a biker mag the other day. They look nice an classic with the fishtails. I guess you would not get the power gain as one would with the long shot HS pipes though correct or would you? Any thoughts? I will soon be making my decission with pipes and stage one.

 

Got mine on order so cant comment yet.I know there is a backorder for the fishtail tips but i have heard positive comments from guys that have them.

Have heard also that the v&h system isnt as restrictive as the Samson due to the shape of the tips (only what i have heard).

Mate has gone from v&h big shot longs to this system (a am i) with very little power loss.His engine is a stocky bar the se a/cleaner.

Thanks moggsy. I found another post on this topic after wards and got a little more info too. I see others including yourself have had to wait a long time for the fishtails. I order from M&M too so I guess I'll wait a little longer before putting in my order. Those pipes do look sharp though IMO

 

I have these on my Deluxe for over a month now and they are awesome pipes. They replaced a set of Rineharts and I could not tell any difference in power or torque. I am in process of a BB build with cams and heads and will see how that feels once that's done.
