I'm curious about this. I bought my 07 Fatty in Sept 06 & there is a high plastic wall in front of the battery between the + terminal & the frame. I had assumed this was the problem area.

Had my bike into the dealer for its first service. The service manager said that we should be getting our recall letters next week, and they should have the parts at about the same time. He said it is a guide that will ensure that the cables are routed properly and stay in the right place.

dealer called me last night said he got enough parts in to do two bikes. told me mybike would be ready today. so I went to pick it up. he made it sound like they replaced battery tray. also said they got more parts in today, enough to do six more bikes. put77 miles on heritage,love it!

The recall consists of a new Battery Tray, along with the R&R of the trays, the Pos cable between battery and Starter must be aligned to a correct axis to ensure that the cable stays put and will not chaffe or contact the oil bag.....

Along with that mod, the o2 sensor wires for the rear cylinder are re-routed....

Takes about 1/2 hour or so to do the mod.....
