i've done as much searching as i can think of, off and on probaly over a couple of years, but haven't seen any. i've read a few where people say they don't trust it, but nothing to back up the mistrust.

i've stuck this setup on a bike before, but truthfully never used it for more than a flip out luggage rack. i'm probaly going to cut my fender brackets off sometime soon (the bike i did before was a small honda i got cheap that was already bobbed), kinda of a point of no return. so i'm looking for some final reassurances.

conversly, anyone have or heard any story of carrying more than it's supposed to and not having any problem with it? thanks.

 

When I first got the bike I had my girlfriend on the back a bunch of times and never had a problem. Those struts are solid and will never fail.

I have my stock seat and all the brackets if you need parts. I'm never gonna have a passenger, my wife has her own sled.
