Default Need advice on aftermarket spoke wheels

When I got my new Slim a couple weeks ago I told my GF I was going to leave it mostly stock. She laughed, Who was I kidding. I been starting to look at different spoke wheels. But I have a few questions/concerns.

I like the look of an 18 inch wheel. But I don't want to loose the great handling of the Slim. If I went with a 18 inch wheel with a tire with a shorter side wall will it still handle as well?

I started reading about the DNA wheels an they do not seem like the brand to go with. Is Ride Wright the way to go? And is there anything else I should know about getting a spoke wheel?

Thanks
Eric

I went with HD wheels 18 rear & 19 front with Avon cobra tires. Very happy with the set up. Handling wise: my short coming is the height of the bike. Because mine sit so low now, I would scrape left/right first b4 I reach not even close to the limit. When I ride through the canyons with friends, it's always because I'm scraping when I start to lean as to why I could not keep up with my friends that rides street glides touring or sport bikes.

Here's a couple of pics:

B4 I drop it & while I still had the mini ape

After drop 2

You might also look at the Ultima King Spoke Wheels. Available with a chrome or black rim. Do a Google search. There have been a couple threads on HDForums with good reviews.
