Mobile 1 is a good choice. I prefer Amsoil full synthetic 60 weight for my gear box, and their 20-50 for my primary and oil.

Wow, no one said...

It'll void your warranty.

Mobile 1 15-50, about $26.00 for five quarts at wally world. No need to pay the price for a v-twin label.

Wrong. There are partial synthetics and full synthetics.

I only use the finest of canola oils in my engine, with the exception of during the summer time. Being in Jersey I just go down the shore and look for all the benny fist pumpers and squeeze some oil from their hair.

But really though I've never had issues with Mobil1 in the primary, Lucas 85w140 in the tranny, and Amsoil 20w50 in the motor.

Thank you!

On a serious note, I use non HD oil when I need to. And only dino. I got tired of the ticking synthetic was causing because it's thinner.

As an example of your statement my 72' El Camino only had 5 lbs oil pressure at idle with Mobile 1. All I did was change it to
Castrol GTX 10-30 and oil pressure went up to 30 lbs at idle.

From an Aussie point of view, I only use Amsoil in my machine and the cost to Us Down Under it is not cheap because of the exchange rate. Price does not come into it for Me. My Harley is worth a lot of money, so I use the best I can find and do the changes myself so Im still saving money by not going to the dealer.
