Default 300+ mile seat for 2008 Night Train?

I have the stock Badlander on my 2008 Night Train. It sucks after about 180 miles. I want to buy a solo seat that will let me ride all day without feeling like I got my *** kicked! I've been looking at the Danny Gay Buttcrack solo. Is this the seat I'm looking for? I would really appreciate some help. I don't want to spend the money on another seat that will beat my tailbone. Thanks for any input.

I've always liked LePera seats. Itook my stock NT seat and put some memory foam in it though and its a very big improvement over what it was. Stock seat I could do 300-400 miles until my tail bone went numb

I have a butt crack solo Danny Gray from my night train in perfect condition if you want it. It goes all day without issue. I changed seats just for a diff look, I get bored easy. PM me if you're interested, give you a sweet deal on it.

Use your stock seat and carry a backpack with a cushion off your couch!

I rode this Fastgunfighter for 9 years now.for me great back support with all day comfort 60k plus miles on it now. Granted I had Corbin fit it to me to get it right for me.

Mustang wide vintage solo is a great 300+ mile seat for most people. It's about what works for you and how conditioned your butt is to handle the rides. I drive truck for a living so 12-18 hours a day in a seat is no big deal for me. I ride in comfort all day on a Le Pera Bare Bones while others can't get 50 miles on them.

I got the seat today. It is exactly as described. Thank you for the SMOKIN' deal! I won't be able to try it out until this weekend, but I'm looking forward to it.

I have the same seat (slightly modified to fit the fender) on my 06' standard and have gone over 500 miles on it

Thanks for the input. I can't wait to feel the difference! Getting older sucks!

I put the stock seat off of a '10 Fatboy on my '06 Standard, but sent it off to Mean City Cycles. Did the memory foam upgrade to it and its AMAZING the difference. If you get to feelin that your new seat isn't quite cutting it anymore, I recommend sending your seat to them and have it worked on. Their customer service is great and its a quick turn around getting it back...
