Default 2015 FLSTC and Vance and Hines slip on's

Just bought a new 2015 FLSTC and told the dealer to install some slip on mufflers to make it sound good with out the need for a tuner. Well, they put Vance and Hines twin slash on it. Looks great, but has poping and backfire on decell. Harley is telling me I need to put a progremer on it and might as well do air filter to go to stage one to get rid of it. I really don't want to spend a thousand dollars on it right now, but if that's what I got to do, So my question is which tuner, Screaming Eagle, Fuelpac, or any other ideas? Just want a bike that sounds like a Harley. Thanks.

Go out an buy yourself a fuelpak FP3 from vance and hines and also buy a stage 1 air cleaner. Its easy to install both so do it yourself

+1 On the FP3 , great bit of gear for stage 1, and very easy to use for a beginner.

I bought my 2014 heritage and also had the dealer put V&H twins slash slip-ons. I too had a lot of decel popping. My indy who works for a Harley dealer told me not to worry about the popping and that I didn't have to tune it unless I also change the air cleaner.

So I thought I would wait to after the 1000 mile service then I would do the stage one. I bought the Harley ventilator , It looks great and its only 250. And I bought the FP3 . I flashed the bike and no decel popping at all , Not even if I tried to make it pop. also the bike pulls great all the way up!!!! The best part is a year later I put V&H true duals and I just took the fp3 off the shelf and flashed the new map. IMHO if your putting V&H pipes on your bike the fp3 is a perfect match!!!!!! Good luck with your new bike and ride safe......swifty

Any $100 stage 1 air filter will work, you dont need to spend 250....

Absolutely.
I went this route and couldn't be happier.
The FP3 was relatively inexpensive but the results were nothing short of amazing, not the least of which was the total elimination of all decel pop.
