RE: Installed LED tri bar taillight
I did mine.
I am mechanically inclined, but also extremely busy.
I let my dealer do all of my work, but the tail light was just easier to do rather than take it to the dealer.
It took me about 1/2 hour to do, and went smooth as silk.
LOVE the light. It's the best looking tail light on the market.

RE: Installed LED tri bar taillight
I did mine, and I'm about as mechanically challenged as anyone on the forum. If you're bike is lowered (mine is) - it was tough getting to the screws, and I didn't get one in tight enough and it fell out. It took me about 2 hrs, only because it took me about 45 minutes to get the screws out. If you're bike is not lowered, it would be a snap. Unscrew, remove, slides right back in.
I just have to figure out what to do w/the holes where the tag is supposed to go. Any suggestions.

Or get some in yellow/amber and wire them into the turn signals.
