Update: since a 2001 heritage springer popped up last week, I have been giving all the attention to it, thus, neglecting the plans I have for the crossbones. I thought I would update and explain. It's actually a great thing. .... I finally have most all of the parts for my crossbones transformation, I will need a couple of things, a 1925 spring seat, and a solo rack. I am still not sure of the color I'm going to paint it. It's denim black, and since the HS is purple and silver, I could just leave it black. But, I still think it needs a little bit of color, so, that's where I am. In the mean time, I can ride the crossbones, while I rebuild the HS, then I'll start on the CB. I will not be out of a bike to ride, in case, we have some really nice days. It's a win, win. So, that's the update for now. I'll post pics of my pile o parts soon, with a list of everything. Maybe, I'll have the color sorted soon.
