Indroducing my new breakout
#61
To follow on...I finally got the LEDs hooked up front to back and all working fine. I removed the signals on the front and the back in exchange for the truwrapz and the tail light. At the moment, I have a fast flash at the indicators because the switch to straight LEDs like I did would require a load equalizer which right now isn't worth spending the money on.
To accommodate the license plate, I made two mods. I bought a left axle license plate holder for 60 bones on ebay. My state requires a light on your plate. Rather than play around with more wires, I took the stock plate holder apart. Removed the part where it bends by painstakingly a pulling the spring out with everything I could throw at it. I then cut a slit into the stock plate holder, and mounted it and its light up to the holder with the license plate. I could bend the plate around, but right now I will leave it straight because I know the whole plate won't be lit up. I just got tired of dealing with electrical issues after this.

Tourpak mount and back rest designs both finished! Thankfully the shop I cut them at had a magnetic metal bender (don't remember what its called) because the tourpak mount wasn't bending by hand. Just need to find an inexpensive chopped tourpak. Backrest I was told I could get it upholstered for 60 bucks. Taking orders if anyone's interested in the backrest

Figured I would update my thread. Finally got the quarter fairing and the bags for my quick release system painted! Also pulled the axle plate (anyone want to buy it?) and threw on the japan webike license plate hookup. Still getting all the parts/latches for the tourpak and bags. Should have the final bracket designed this weekend. Stoked!
