Any Softail Brake & Clutch Lever Options With Rubber Inserts?
I do a lot of in-town riding and I am developing repetitive motion syndrome in my left hand from the workout my left hand is getting working the clutch, when I'm not on the freeway.
I nearly always wear gloves...
Numbness, left-hand, palm, fingers, wrist only, falling asleep etc., pretty much as soon as i get on bike, now intermittently throughout the day as well...
Its getting so bad I'm riding one-handed more than two lately...
Muscle relaxers the Dr. gave me are not doing shiite.
Been googling & about all I have found so far is either leather or foam clutch lever covers, I ordered both & am waiting on them...
I also ordered this easy-pull widget:
http://www.kcint2.com/product/50-220...D-TOURING.html
waiting on it as well...
I was hoping to find some brake & clutch levers with rubber inserts/covers, but have been unable to find any such thing thus far...
Anybody have any experience with any of these or other widgets that may give me some relief?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you need a new doctor because you are describing nerve damage, not muscle damage.
This will do a lot more for your health than foam in the levelers: VP68LT - Easy Clutch pull
Also try a size bigger gloves.

Update:
I put the made in U.S.A. http://www.burlybrand.com/ Easy Pull Clutch Kit in this am that I got via http://www.kcint2.com/product/50-220...D-TOURING.html
for $18.00 U.S.
Only thing that pissed me off was the dang thing didn't come with any instructions...
Ended up downloading them from: http://www.burlybrand.com/
Missing a few details, but between those & the Factory Softail Manual for my bike and the fact that the applicable pieces could only go together one-way; it was pretty straight forward and simple to get-r-done in about 30 minutes...
I did not have to take off my exhausts so that saved a little time too...
Hardest thing was that big *** snap-ring the Motor Company uses to hold the ramp arm down. (Factory manual noted to reinstall to same orientation it was when removed, looks like it could come apart if you don't)
Used a dab of grease on each of the 3 ball bearings that won't stay in place, while your trying to put cable & ramp arm back together...
Anyway after it was all said & done, I initially thought it only made like a 5% difference...
But after I rode it around a bit I noticed it was a lot more; like maybe 20-25% easier...
I think it will take a couple weeks for the pins & needles to go away fully out of my left hand; in order for me to say it was enough to solve my problem or not...
IF it is not, I think I will try the https://aimcorp.myshopify.com/collec...-clutch-series next, since it is a fraction of the price of the RevLoc http://www.revloc.com.au/
I will update this thread as applicable...
Best Regards.

I picked up some clutch and handlebar tassels that cover the handles in leather...they were cheap on eBay, you could look into that I'd your fix isn't enough. They make them without the tassels too if you like.
Chilhowee gets great reviews too, a bit more money but I've heard great stuff.

Or these.

The http://www.burlybrand.com/ Easy Pull Clutch Kit for $18.00 is the best money I've ever spent...
This solved my issue I itemized in my original post...
In addition, I RODE the same bike to Sturgis & back this year, and had no related issues whatsoever...
Only complaint was the Wind, it wore me out at times, I got lucky narrowly missing hail and what looked like Tornado Weather on several occasions...
I took the scenic way to Sturgis from Vegas zig-zagging through Black Hawk, Colorado and elsewhere about 1200 miles there; and took a more direct route back home that was about 1050 miles, after a week in Sturgis & touring surrounding areas and the trip there & back I had about a 2500 mile blast on my Heritage Springer Softail on the road and of course partied & ate my fill every day in Sturgis at the 75th ! Greatest Rally On Earth !
Happy Trails...
