What Solo Seat Will Come Closest??
Seldom ride '2-up', so I just recently removed the rear pillion and installed a Chilhowee bib.
((This is on a 2003 Softail Fatboy)).
I think it looks great, but I now realize that in my normal riding position I was sitting towards the rear of the seat, and actually using the pillion for a 'stop' and mini-back rest....
Most of my riding is fairly long range (300+ mile runs), so I want something halfway comfortable, but I need a solo seat with a little more rise in the back so it isn't quite as flat as the stock seat.
I'd like something with the same seat height (or even slightly higher) and don't want to set any lower..
I also don't want a seat that will push me any closer to the bars.
So I guess I'm looking for suggestions on a solo seat that has the following specifications;
1. More of a rise in the back for a little more support and to keep me from sliding too far back.
2. The same seating height (or even slightly higher if necessary), but nothing lower.
3. Don't want to be pushed any closer to the handlebar, so I'd like the same legroom (or even slightly more) as the 'stock seat'.
4. Fairly comfortable to the long hauls...
Any suggestions based on your experience would be appreciated.

My seat which is from mammothchoppers is the one your looking for.Moves you back,is extremely comfortable and does have back support(doesnt look like it but it does) And they are very inexpensive.

About how far back did it move you compared to stock? How does the seating height compare?
I'll have to do a search on that company and see what I can find....
Thanks for the information..

I think any seat that has more back support will move you a little closer to the front but your stock seat probably did that with the pass pillion on. My vote is to look at the Corbin solo as they are very comfortable and look great!!
