Been doing ape hangers for the last week. Got everything together last night and doing the final touches on the cables (routing,tension). While turning my bars the brake line got pinched between the neck and steering stop(?) The line was empty but got a little kink in it. Is this survivable or will I have to replace it?

 

Without seeing it it's hard to judge the serviceability of your brake line from here. With that said, it's only a brake line - how important is it to you.

 

It's not except that it's brand new. Don't have a problem buying a new one, just thought I'd ask.

 

I would get a new one. I don't know if and how a kink would actually effect the integrity of the line but better safe then sorry.
