helmet looks cool - personally I like the smaller 1/2 helmets or beanies. I have the old WWII German-looking helmet and a full-face for long, cold rides. I'd like a smaller beanie but haven't found "the one" yet. Any suggestions? I love the HD skull flat black, but not the price!

I would only consider a helmet that is Snell AND Dot approved.

I like Arai and Shoei

Check out carbonfiberhelmets.com. I have a couple of them...love em. They are real sleek, low profile and strong.

Maybe it's the picture, but doesn't look like a quality helmet.

ACC is quite popular on this site and I think with good reason,I really like mine.

I ride with an AGV Dragon Helmet. Very comfortable and fairly high on the cool factor.

SO your head is only worth 70 bucks?

Not a big fan of wasting money - I'd much rather spend a couple hundred dollars or so on chrome/accessories, but when it comes to helmets........it pays to shop around. I'll bet you can find one locally that's both snell and DOT approved and not brake the bank.

Both of the helmuts I bought in the past months have the latest ratings but were heavily discounted because they were display models.

Looks good though if you're looking for that retro look.
