80% of the way to what I want...figures.
I see the motor and frame. And with the exhaust we like. But I'm not sure exactly why the picture is really what it is... Is it a photo shopped img?

Wait! What?
So you, we could still buy this header direct and fit it to our late model twin cam engines direct?
Now I'm even more confused

It seems you may can still buy that system from HD, but they probably dont have 02 sensors, or in the correct position for newer bikes such as mine. I am not into welding them on because i know i will screw up the chrome.

You can get the pipes from HD with O2 bungs, I posted above how to get the part numbers and they aren't expensive.

The chrome is covers that screw on with hose clamps, the pipes themselves are stainless.

Sensors? Way my bike works, it don't need no sensors.
Just a smart air/fuel combination and she's off!
Goin to the dealer later so they can confirm this for my Slim

Just because the dealer says no doesn't mean it's so...

I welded O2 bungs on a NOS V&H pipe I got *(Cheap)*! from a forum member. There was minimal damage to the chrome. Only where it was buffed off. The bungs are on the back of the pipe and painted with silver high temp paint for rust protection, then covered with a heat shield. Nearly impossible to see the bungs or missing chrome when mounted on my bike.
