I'm also really curious about the '16 RK changes, if any.

I asked my GM for what he knew, and/or what he'd be willing to share, and he insisted that he really doesn't know any more than we do, because the MoCo is a publicly traded company, and if he had any "insider" information it would be a problem.

Before I bought my Lo when I heard Softail the Heritage was the only image in my mind. The studs, conchos, and sometimes fringe have kept me away from that model. Also the fact that in the late 90's early 2000's around here you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a yuppie on a heritage, now they all have Street Glides. Have to agree that it's the best bang for the buck in the Softail platform, big bags, removable windshield, aux lights..... just not a style that I care for

Nothing wrong with a Heritage. I've been eyeballing this one.

For some reason the forum doesn't allow the picture.....anyway it's a Gun Metal Blue 2003 with 150 miles for $14,500 or offer.

I picked up a used '06 Heritage Softail FLSTI, the oddball Heritage. My first Softail ever after 2 Sportsters, a ton of Dynas, and an '07 Electra Glide. I love this bike and the paint job. The bags will be going soon.

I have to admit I'm not a fan of the studs either. I would put some plain Leather Pros saddlebags on and change the seat. I think the Heritage looks great with a solo seat. I saw the thread about the 2016 colors. I think the Heritage in teal would look cool. I like old school.

I love the heritage!
Wanted one for years, and finally bought one at the weekend, picking it up in 2 weeks.

Sold my GSXR sports bike to get it, but still got my sporty... would never be able to part with that, it's my baby!

Here is the bag that I am putting the black dots/studs on now..raining pretty hard so I just snapped a pic of it and the sissy bar bag. If it quits raining in a bit I will try and get some of the seat which I think looks killer.

I bought a brand new 2014 Morocco Gold Heritage w. security and ABS at Naples HD on a whim, and like it so much I picked up a cherry 2013 with only 650 mi. here in NJ 6 months later. So far spent $$$ to outfit both bikes with 100% LED lighting ( a HUGE safety upgrade), engine guards, soft lowers (with studs!) for the NJ bike, and Zumos for both. Slip-on's for just a little more sound are the next project.

When I was looking at getting a bike I didn't care for the chrome dots on the Heritage - I think they're cool now - so I dismissed that model. I liked the idea of the setup though so I went with my solid colored Deluxe and added on similar options that are particular to this model. I prefer the smaller Deluxe bags so the swingarm isn't all covered up and the 3 conchos look just right to me.
As far as the Deluxe seat; I'm 6' tall but short legs so it doesn't push me up at all. Depends on you build and body layout. Ebay is a great place to get one cheap.

Personally I like the Heritage all done uP full-boat style like this . . .

My Deluxe as she stands now with the Signature Series seat and a more modern take on the backrest / sissybar combo;
